This 24-hour course introduces participants to assembling the racking used to carry the photovoltaic modules that power solar farms. Topics include the purpose and identification of various racking components, what they are, and how they are assembled. course covers the operation and maintenance procedures of a Vermer PD10R solar pile driver in a production environment. Hazards of operation and necessary safety precautions will be discussed and practiced. Hands-on activities include will involve handling the various racking components and building the racking system. Safety considerations will be reviewed and incorporated during hands-on activities.*
