This 4-hour course covers the hazards and precautions used on jobs involving lead exposure. This course is intended to provide awareness to members and does not comply with EPA or OSHA regulations for workers who may be potentially exposed to elevated lead levels, or for those working in target housing or child-occupied facilities. Topics covered include the history of lead and its uses; health effects; abatement methods on steel structures; and OSHA lead regulations.
