Mar. 10-14, 2025 at 7am - 3:30pm PT
This 40-hour course provides the initial EPA required training for abatement workers and covers the following topics: hazards and health effects of asbestos; medical monitoring and surveillance; legal rights of workers; PPE; specific procedures used on the job; site safety; engineering controls; negative air systems; decontamination; air monitoring; and OSHA standards that govern the work. Course work will include both classroom and hands-on activities.
